TV aerials in Cromer and North Norfolk

We’re based in Cromer, so this is our own patch. Aerial repairs, new aerials, satellite dishes, extra TV points and wall mounting for homes, holiday lets, rented places and businesses.

Sea air is hard on aerials

Wind and salt off the North Sea wear out brackets, clamps and cable joints faster than they do inland. If your picture drops out on windy days, the aerial may have shifted or a joint may be letting in water.

Reception is a bit awkward round here too. Most of Norfolk watches from the Tacolneston mast south of Norwich, but along the coast that signal can be weak, so some homes pick up the small relay masts at Overstrand or West Runton instead. Those relays only carry the main channels.

So before we decide anything, we test what your house can actually pick up. Sometimes it’s a better aerial pointed at Tacolneston, sometimes it’s a Freesat dish.
