TV aerial installation in Norfolk

New and replacement aerials for homes, rented properties and businesses. We look at the property first, check which mast gives the best signal at your address, then fit, tune and test a setup that suits it.

When a new aerial makes sense

The old aerial is bent, rusted or loose

Wind and weather wear aerials out, especially near the coast. If yours has shifted or corroded, replacing it is often the better fix than patching it up.

Aerial repairs

There’s no aerial, or you’ve just moved in

We check the signal at your address and recommend where the aerial should go and what type it needs.

You want to know if a loft aerial will work

Sometimes it will, sometimes the roof gets in the way. We test the signal in the loft on the survey and tell you straight.

You want TV in more rooms

A new aerial is a good time to add extra TV points, so every room is wired from the same feed.

Extra TV points

Pointing it at the right mast

Most of Norfolk gets Freeview from the Tacolneston mast, south-west of Norwich. Tacolneston also feeds smaller relay masts at King’s Lynn and Wells-next-the-Sea, and in parts of west and north-west Norfolk the signal from Belmont in Lincolnshire is often stronger.

So the right direction depends on your exact address. We measure the signal on site before deciding where the aerial goes and which way it faces.

What the job includes

  • A signal check at your property before anything is fitted
  • The aerial, bracket and cable your setup needs
  • Fitting, and running the cable to your TV point
  • Tuning your TV and testing every channel with you

How the visit works

Ring or send the quote form with your postcode and what’s wrong. We book a visit, find the cause and explain what it needs. The survey is free and there’s no obligation.

If you want us to go ahead, you get a fixed price first. Work only starts once you’ve agreed it, and we test everything with you before we leave.

Questions people ask

How much does a new TV aerial cost?

It depends on the aerial your area needs, where it can be mounted and how much cable has to be run. We come and look for free, then give you a fixed price before any work starts.

Do I need a special aerial for Freeview HD?

Usually not. HD channels come through the same aerial as the rest. If they are missing it is normally a weak signal, an aerial pointing at the wrong mast or an older TV, and we can check which.

Can you fit an aerial in the loft?

Sometimes. It depends on how strong the signal is at your address and what the roof is made of. We test it on the survey and tell you whether a loft aerial will give a reliable picture.

Can you work at a rented property?

Yes. Tell us who is authorising the work and who can give us access on the day.

We’re based in Cromer and work across Norfolk, including Cromer and North Norfolk, Norwich, King’s Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Thetford. See all the areas we cover.
